ThE Story
After his wife is diagnosed with a terminal illness, she quietly leaves their home without warning. In time, Cole learns of his wife's passing. Grieving and desperate for answers, he travels to a remote island where legend says the midnight wind shakes the branches of an ancient tree on the cliffside and carries the voices of the dead. But there's a catch: a person can only listen for as long as it takes a single leaf to fall from the great tree. Once the leaf touches the ground, the connection is lost.

On the island, Cole visits the tree night after night, testing the legend of the midnight wind. As he listens to his wife's voice, he uncovers painful secrets about her past and their life together. Each revelation forces Cole to wrestle with whether some questions are better left unanswered.
